BBTech’s Red Frag Team Win ‘Best Team’ Award at International Synthetic Biology Competition 2025 in China
Students from the Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University, representing team “Red Flags,” won the “Best Team” award at The 2nd Synthetic Biology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. Organized by the Shenzhen Institute of Synthetic Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, the event took place on January 16, 2026, in Hunan Province, People’s Republic of China. The competition aimed to promote innovation and entrepreneurship within the biomanufacturing industry and serve as an international exchange platform for young researchers.
Members of team Red Flags include Ms. Vanessa Goeyardi, Mr. Pradchapon Dechakorn, and Mr. Panut Singkorapoom from the Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology (BBTech) international program. They were selected as representatives of Thailand for this competition, under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kuakarun Krusong from the Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University, who served as their team advisor.
